Geoffrey T. Mullin

Mr. Mullin has practiced law in Orangeville since 1968 when he started with the firm of Wardlaw & Wardlaw which eventually grew and evolved into Wardlaw Mullin Carter Thwaites & Ward. In this time Mr. Mullin has gained over 35 years experience and is senior litigation counsel with an emphasis on Municipal, Family, Personal Injury, Insurance and Administrative Law and has acted as insurance defence counsel on numerous matters. Mr. Mullin is senior legal counsel for numerous municipalities including the Town of Mono and the Townships East Garafraxa and Amaranth. He has lectured for the Canadian Bar Association on municipal issues and at various seminars both for his own firm and for other organizations including the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Georgian College.

David G. Thwaites

Mr. Thwaites has practiced law since 1981 in Orangeville with an emphasis on litigation including Family Law, Child Welfare Law, Employment (Wrongful Dismissal), Personal Injury (Motor Vehicles) and Insurance Law. He has provided counsel to various Churches and Charities with a focus on Risk Management. Mr. Thwaites has authored numerous articles and delivered papers at seminars sponsored by the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario), The Law Society of Upper Canada, The Canadian Council of Christian Charities as well as for his law firm. He is a past member of the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario) Council and is a past President of the Dufferin County Law Association and a member of the Chirstian Legal Fellowship. Mr. Thwaites is actively involved in his Church in various capacities. He is a lay chaplain at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville and has been a coach for many years with Orangeville Minor Hockey and Baseball. He has served, both in Canada and overseas, in relief and mission projects.

Patricia L. Sproule Ward

Mrs. Ward has practiced law in Orangeville since her call to the Bar in 1988. She has a general solicitors practice including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration, Real Estate and Corporate-Commercial Law. Mrs. Ward is associate counsel for several local municipalities. She is a frequent speaker at a variety of community events and seminars sponsored by various organizations. Mrs. Ward has taught the Real Estate Course for the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario through Georgian College and the Business Management progam for Georgian College. Mrs. Ward is actively involved in the community having served as a member of the board for Big Sisters of Orangeville, a Director and former President of the Orangeville and District Chamber of Commerce as it then was and more recently as Chair, Vice-Chair and member of building committee of the School Council of Princess Elizabeth School in Orangeville.
